Christmas tour
Explore the romantic Koblenz old town at Christmas time with experienced tour guides and follow the Herrnhut Star. 

The Christmas market is located at seven historic squares throughout the old town.

Listen to Christmas anecdotes and gain insights into the exciting history of the city, from the Schängel fountain to the Deutsches Eck.

The inclusive Christmas market
On the first and second weekends of Advent on Saturdays and Sundays from 12–8 p.m., handmade products from local workshops for the disabled will be on sale at Görresplatz. The Förder- und Wohnstätte from Kettig will be represented on both weekends.

A new addition on the second weekend of Advent is the "Barmherzige Brüder" facility from Saffig.

Musical Advent calendar
The musical highlight is the Musical Advent Calendar, which invites you to enjoy the festive sounds of choirs from Koblenz and the surrounding area at Görresplatz from December 2 through December 20, 2024, Monday through Friday, starting at 7 p.m. The Musical Advent Calendar is organized by the Koblenz District Choir Association.

Song recital with Manfred and Michael Gniffke
The popular Kowelenz Christmas stories with the Koblenz original Manfred Gniffke and his son Michael Gniffke once again invite visitors to a cozy get-together with Christmas songs and stories in our local dialect on the forecourt of the Liebfrauenkirche on the four Advent weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 5 p.m.).

Ecumenical Advent meditation "The Other Advent"
Every year, as part of the Koblenz Christmas market, the ecumenical Advent meditation "The other Advent" takes place in the Citykirche at Jesuitenplatz. 

The twenty-minute meditations invite you to pause for a moment in the middle of the city between 
November 30 and December 23 on Mondays-Saturdays from 5:30 to 5:50 p.m. with musical accompaniment.
